For People in a field I was asked to create a low latency high quality video playback and live camera mixing system. The software managed all of the video content for this performance.

PEOPLE IN A FIELD is a quintet, a mosaic choreography in four parts, tracing the epic quest of five ‘people in a field’. The title already invokes a plural being, a common space – and although sometimes individual traces fight themselves to the foreground – this indeed defines their actions; they are moving, transforming, manipulating and talking as a group.

The quintet PEOPLE IN A FIELD is the last piece of a long research period, that started in 2011 with the solo JAPAN and was extended in 2012 with GERRO, MINOS AND HIM.
