Using non pro cameras on stage can be a difficult affair. To give better quality connections and uninterrupted power I made these camera boxes for PIPS:lab. Each one has custom made conversion circuits for the non-pro video output to BNC as well as 220v  input. The boxes are made form steel and fit directly into the tripod screw mount of the cameras and have a screw in tripod receptacle. Models done so far; Sony FX-1, Sony PD-100 and Canon HV30.
