I had a great opportunity to work on a fantastic project called Crossroads in Sudan. Crossroads was a collaboration between PIPS:lab and a group of Sudanese performers and theatre makers. We ran workshops and classes for several months, developing this new location theatre piece. In true PIPS:Lab style we added some of our techniques to the mix. I decided to build a video control rig to sit on location as part of the set. With some interesting make do solutions, a small reversing screen from a car, somem water pots and a lot of welding in the hot sun, this is the final product.
